Impressive debut winner Gilhoolie is attracting interest from overseas.
"It depends if he gets a Rating 70 in Hong Kong – if that was the case then he might be sold," trainer and part-owner James Bridge said.
Gilhoolie had been successful in both of his trials before he posted an easy win, despite racing greenly, at Ellerslie on Saturday.
"He showed what he's all about," Bridge said. "He's got a super attitude and he's come through the race really well."
If a sale doesn't eventuate, Bridge said he would either aim Gilhoolie at the Listed Murdoch Newell Stakes at Pukekohe on November 19 or give the grey son of Guillotine a break before readying him for the Karaka Million in late January.
