The Oamaru Jockey Club's meeting has been rescheduled to Monday.
Rain forced the abandonment of Thursday's fixture, but an improved weather forecast has encouraged the club, the Racing Integrity Unit, the NZ Trainers' Association and the Southern Programming Committee to go ahead on Labour Day.
The RIU will conduct a further inspection on Sunday, but all parties are confident the meeting will proceed.
