The in-form Curragh may make an appearance at Flemington during cup week.
The son of Tavistock was successful over a mile at Moe on Thursday to take his Victorian record to two wins and a placing from three appearances for trainers Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young.
"We've always felt he was going to be a 2000m horse so to get a win at 1600m is a bonus," Young said.
"We'd like to give him a chance in town and hopefully there is a race over 1800 or 2000 in early November, maybe over the Flemington carnival."
