Classic contender Savile Row will make his next appearance in the South Island.
The Michael Moroney and Pam Gerard-trained son of Makfi will further his Gr.1 Sothys New Zealand 2000 Guineas preparation when he steps out in the Listed Barneswood Farm Stakes over 1400 metres at Ashburton on Saturday.
Savile Row won his only start as a two-year-old and he finished sixth when he resumed last month in the Gr.3 Bonecrusher Stakes at Ellerslie. He has been accompanied south by stablemate and one-race winner All Knitted Up.
