Cambridge trainer Stephen Marsh has tipped a bright staying future for Chocante.
"He's improving and definitely a horse that can go through the grades," he said. "He'll be even better once he gets up to 2000 metres.
"He's been raw, but he's furnished into a quality individual. He looks like a real handicap style of horse who can go a fair way."
Chocante has won three of his eight starts and maintained his unbeaten record as a four-year-old with his latest victory at Te Rapa last Friday.
