Packing Pins (NZ) (Pins) will be looking to break his feature race drought when lining up in Saturday's HK Gr.3 Celebration Cup.
Packing Pins has run strong races at a high level at 1200m and 1600m, but if a group race breakthrough happens for Ricky Yiu Poon-fai's talented six-year-old, then a contest like the 1400m event could represent his best chance.
Jockey Chad Schofield takes the ride on Packing Pins for the first time and likes what he sees from the gelding.
"He hasn't won a big one yet but he has knocked on the door, and he has shown how good he is without winning a feature," Schofield said.
Packing Pins has won five from eight over Saturday's course and distance, and also ran a narrow second in the Group Three Chinese Club Challenge Cup over 1,400m last season.
