Michael Coleman likes his chances of adding to his record in the Gr.1 Livamol Classic at Hastings on Saturday.
He has previously won the event on Moss Downs (1997), Xcellent (2005), Wall Street (2010) and Costume (2014).
This time around he will partner the Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman-trained Mime, runner-up to Kawi last time out in the Gr.1 Windsor Park Plate.
"She's flying and in the right form to be a big threat on Saturday," Coleman said. "She seems to have come up really well and felt really bouncy on the second day."
Mime broke her maiden on a heavy track and Coleman isn't overly concerned about the prospect of slow ground.
"I trialled her on a really off track at Te Teko and she wasn't the worst," he said. "I think she would probably be okay on a slow 7."
