Stephen Marsh has predicted a bright future for his apprentice Hairi Marzuki.
"He's from Singapore where he had one winner," the Cambridge trainer said. "He had a couple of rides for me at Matamata on Wednesday and I think he's going to make the grade – he's a very hard worker."
Marzuki's four kilo claim will be put to good use on Saturday aboard the stable runner Thee Auld Floozie, who has a carded weight of 61.5kg when she resumes in the NZB Insurance Pearl Series Race at New Plymouth.
