Caulfield trainer Mick Price wasn't perturbed by Tarzino's unplaced effort in the Gr.1 Makybe Diva Stakes at Flemington.
"He drew an inside barrier and Entirely Platinum didn't help, he ran into the back of him and Tarzino's not a stop-start horse, he needs to be able to flow into his races," he said.
"I'm happy with him and am looking forward to the Underwood and then going on to the Turnbull and the Caulfield Cup."
The New Zealand-bred son of Tavistock was the dual Group One winner of the VRC Derby and the Rosehill Guineas last season.
