Kelly McCulloch has formed a potent partnership with All Roads and understandably she won't be letting the progressive five-year-old out of her future sights.
The Pukekohe-based jockey has fashioned an impeccable record on the gelding with four wins from as many rides.
"I think he's pretty special and he's getting better and better," McCulloch said.
She was speaking in the wake of their latest success in Saturday's MWIS Supports Hundertwasser Art Centre Rating 85 at Ruakaka, which came at All Roads' middle distance debut.
The step up in trip from a mile to 2100 metres didn't pose a problem and the son of Road To Rock easily put his rivals away for his fourth success on the course.
McCulloch settled All Roads three pairs back and one off the fence and they finished far too strongly in the run home for Bergerac and Zafrenzy.
"It was his first time over ground and he was a real gentleman," she said. "He's really good."
All Roads' form has coincided with a move from former trainer and part-owner Tony Cole to the Ruakaka stable of Donna Logan and Chris Gibbs.
"He's been a work in progress and we had a lot of problems with him earlier on," Cole said.
"He went really hard and wouldn't settle or travel so we thought about sending him somewhere he could walk to the races and he's come on in leaps and bounds so it's been very pleasing.
"It's been the making of him, he's really thrived. We should really look at a little bit of a let-up and a serious race down the track." – NZ Racing Desk.
