Danielle Johnson will be reunited with the top mare Sofia Rosa in Australia on Saturday.
Following the suspension of Michael Walker, she has been confirmed as the rider of the daughter of Makfi in the Gr.1 Makybe Diva Stakes at Flemington.
Johnson won four races on the Stephen Marsh-trained Sofia Rosa last season, including the Gr.2 Royal Stakes and the Gr.3 Lowland Stakes. They were also first across the line in the Gr.1 New Zealand Oaks, only to be relegated to second after an inquiry.
