A change in plans for Queensland Oaks-winner Provocative has Damien Oliver in the box seat for the mare's spring campaign.
Cambridge trainer Tony Pike on Monday nominated Provocative for Saturday's Listed Heatherlie Stakes (1700m) at Caulfield, in which Oliver has been booked to ride.
"She had that jumpout last week and she's come through it really well. If she works well in the morning and pulls up well, she'll probably run in the Heatherlie," Pike said.
"The timing seems to be a bit better going on towards the Naturalism [over 2000m at Caulfield on September 17]."
Nigelissima, formerly trained by Emma-lee and David Browne at Cambridge and now with Cranbourne-based Kiwi trainers Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young, was also nominated for Saturday's Heatherlie.
