It’s Ben Again (outside) finishes second to Raghu
Talented galloper It's Ben Again finished a solid fourth in a star studded 1000m trial at Taupo on Friday and looks set for a good season.
The Brent Gillovic-trained four-year-old was stakes placed last term when second behind Raghu at Ellerslie with subsequent ATC Derby winner Tavago behind him in third.
"He's 60 kilos heavier than when he last raced, so we had to come and do something because he's as big as a bull," Gillovic said. "It was a super trial.
"He's a rating 70 so we'll look to kick off at Waipa over 1150m and then set our sights on the middle day of the Hawke's Bay Carnival."
