Start Wondering is making steady progress for new trainers Evan and J. J. Rayner.
The talented six-year-old joined the Wanganui father and daughter's stable on his return from Australia where he suffered a bleeding attack.
"We haven't made any plans yet – he hasn't done any fast work, but he looks really well," Evan Rayner said. "He's a lovely horse and we're just hoping things go right for him."
Start Wondering won four races for former Wanganui trainer Paul Belsham before he transferred to Chris Waller's Sydney operation where he added a further three wins to his record.
