Lisa Allpress will resume her association with the in-form Valley Girl at Hastings later this month.
The Wanganui jockey, who guided the daughter of Mastercraftsman to victory in last season's Gr.1 Herbie Dyke Stakes, will ride the mare in the Gr.1 Makfi Challenge Stakes on August 27.
Valley Girl was ridden to a first-up win at Ruakaka by Danielle Johnson, who will partner Capella in the Hawke's Bay Triple Crown opener.
