Hastings stablemates Hugo The Boss and O'Reilly's Choice are progressing well toward a return to racing at their home spring carnival.
"They are both on target to resume here and then hopefully go on to the Hawke's Bay Guineas," trainer John Bary said.
"I just have to be a bit careful with Hugo The Boss, he's no good on anything worse than a Dead 4, but the other one can handle a bit of cut in the ground."
Both are promising, lightly-tried colts who were winners last season.
