Promising Otaki galloper Desano has been forgiven for his last start failure.
An encouraging fourth on debut, he was then beaten in trying conditions in the Listed Ryder Stakes on his home track.
Trainer Karen Zimmerman said the youngster didn't appreciate the kick back off a heavy track and was now enjoying a short break.
"He's definitely got the family ability," she said of the half-brother to stablemate and multiple winner Grace And Power and the family of Group winners King Of Ashford and Govicar.
