Michele Payne partnered her Gr.1 Melbourne Cup winner Prince Of Penzance in a track gallop on Monday morning.
She rode the Darren Weir-trained son of Pentire over 800 metre at Ballarat and said she was pleased with the stayer's work.
Payne has not ridden on race day following a fall at Mildura in May and did not comment on whether she would be making a comeback to race riding soon.
