Ronchi is likely to open his four-year-old season toward the end of August.
"He's coming along nicely and we're looking at Ruakaka for him," co-trainer Allan Peard said.
Ronchi, who holds Group One nominations for the Windsor Park Plate and the Livamol Classic, has won three of his 14 starts with fourth placings in both the Gr.2 Championship Stakes and the Gr.2 Waikato Guineas.
