Josh Oliver's impressive progress in Queensland has been rewarded with a top book of rides at Eagle Farm on Saturday, including his first for leading trainer Rob Heathcote.
The New Zealand apprentice has ridden 65 winners since joining Toowoomba trainer Ben Currie last year.
Oliver will claim three kilos aboard the Heathcote-prepared stakes performer Saluter in an open sprint.
"I have been keen to ride more in town and to get rides from Mr Heathcote is obviously a boost," he said.
