Prince Of Penzance is on target for a return to the scene of his Melbourne Cup triumph at Flemington in the Makybe Diva Stakes.
The son of Pentire pleased trainer Darren Weir in his latest gallop alongside new stablemate Tosen Stardom this week.
"They stretched their legs over half a mile (800m) and both worked great. They're both in fantastic order," Weir said.
"Tosen Stardom and Prince Of Penzance will probably go to the Makybe Diva and then we'll work it out which way we head from there."
The Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) is on September 10.
