James McDonald has added a Group Two victory to his stint in England aboard a stayer familiar to Australasian fans.
The champion New Zealand jockey guided Big Orange to a successful defence of his Princess Of Wales's Stakes title at Newmarket.
"He was pretty happy out there and he gave me a beautiful ride. He's an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to ride," McDonald said.
Trained by Michael Bell, Big Orange finished fifth in last year's Gr.1 Melbourne Cup.
