James McDonald has enjoyed more success in England with victory aboard the two-year-old Nile Empress at Yarmouth overnight.
"Everything went really well," the champion New Zealand jockey said. "It was good to ride a winner for (trainer) Hugo Palmer and hopefully it won't be the last. The track is bit like the tracks at home, it is flat and easy to ride."
McDonald rode possible Melbourne Cup contender Antiquarium to win last month's Northumberland Plate.
