Two stakes winners over the weekend have cemented Pentire's position as the leading New Zealand-based sire in Australia for the 2015-16 racing season.
Tucanchoo became the Rich Hill Stud-based sire's 46th individual stakes winner when taking out Saturday's Listed ATC Winter Cup (2400m) at Eagle Farm.
At the Sunshine Coast on Saturday Amexed scored the fourth win of his career win on Saturday in the Listed Caloundra Cup (2400m).
Pentire sits in fourteenth position on the Australian sires premiership by earnings with his progeny having amassed A$5,871,336. He has sired five stakes winners this season headlined by the Group One winners Prince of Penzance (Melbourne Cup) and Xtravagant (NZ 2000 Guineas and Waikato Sprint).
Pentire will serve a limited book at Rich Hill Stud in 2016 at $10,000 +GST.
