Group Three winner Vergara is looking to bow out a winner in Saturday's Listed Civic Stakes (1350m) at Rosehill before travelling to New Zealand for a date with a champion stallion.
The five-year-old daughter was purchased for $460,000 at the Inglis Australian Broodmare Sale in May.
Connections purchased Vergara with the intention of racing again before going to stud, senior part-owner Phillip Campbell confirming the daughter of Snippetson will be mated with Tavistock in the spring.
"We are very lucky," Campbell said. "One of our partners in Vergara had his mare Native Land already booked to go to Tavistock, who is of course fully booked after an outstanding season of results on the track.
"Fortunately for us, Sir Patrick Hogan has allowed us to swap Vergara for Native Land so it has all worked out well and we are certainly grateful."
Vergara won the Gr.3 Epona Stakes over 1900m at Rosehill in March before finishing fourth to Winx in the Group I Doncaster Mile at Randwick when trained by Anthony Cummings.
Gerald Ryan took over the training of Vergara who finished second in a 1030m barrier trial at Rosehill on June 10.
The principal of Blue Gum Farm in Victoria, Campbell said the option of another race for Vergara fitted the timeframe.
"She has plenty of time before the season and is sound so it made sense to give her another chance at winning a nice race," Campbell said.
"Gerald is happy with her and she has drawn nicely so we are hopeful."
