Cambridge trainer Lee Somervell is glad he covered his bases this week with his two-year-old Impulsive Habit.
He took the precaution of nominating the youngster for Te Rapa on Saturday before Wednesday's Rotorua meeting was rained off.
Impulsive Habit will now debut in Saturday's Safewise 1200 and a strong performance will earn him a trip to the central districts for the Listed Ryder Stakes at Otaki on July 30.
