The Rotorua meeting at Arawa Park on Wednesday has been abandoned.
The course was inspected on Tuesday by the Racing Integrity Unit (RIU) with club officials and due to the water-logged nature of the track and further rain in the forecast the RIU made the recommendation.
New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing, along with the Northern Programming Committee, will look to programme opportunities for runners in the coming weeks and the Rating 65 1400 at Te Rapa on Saturday has been re-opened with the intention of dividing the event.
