Cambridge jumps jockey Charlie Studd has copped a two week suspension for his handling of Superturf in Saturday's Awapuni Hurdles.
He pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to ensure his mount was given every opportunity to finish in the best possible placing.
Superturf ran last and 40 lengths from the winner My Magician and a post-race veterinary inspection of the horse did not reveal any abnormality.
