Kiwis chasing feature SA honours

French Revolution as a Yearling
French Revolution as a Yearling

New Zealand-breds French Revolution and The Centenary will chase black type honours in South Africa on Sunday.

The former, a Mapperley Stud graduate trained by Andre Nel, will take aim at the Gr.3 Track and Ball Derby at Pietermartzburg, a race Kiwi-breds Double Reef (2000), Fire Arch (1994) and Gay Pretender (1976) have previously won.

Windsor Park Stud graduate The Centenary, prepared by Mike de Kock, will step out in the Gr.3 Gold Circle Oaks. The New Zealand filly Merry Affair won the feature in 1974.
