Cambridge thoroughbred identity Michael Wallace was the fore at the Goffs London Sale overnight.

In his role as bloodstock and racing manager for the China Horse Club, Wallace paid NZ$2.6 million for Jet Setting.

The three-year-old daughter of Fast Company recently won the Gr.1 Irish 1000 Guineas for Adrian Keatley, who will continue to train the filly.

The China Horse Club may see a quick return on their purchase with Jet Setting a well-favoured runner in the Gr.1 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot on Friday.

The powerful international operation also recently purchased the Group Two and Three winner Mime, who will be the operation's first New Zealand runner when she resumes in the spring.
