Sacred Elixir will spell in Australia ahead of his Melbourne spring campaign.
"The Victoria Derby is the long term plan with him," trainer Tony Pike said. "He's got a real stayer's pedigree being out of Horlicks' family.
"He's a lovely big horse now and he's only going to furnish more as he gets older. He's going to be a lovely horse when he gets to 2000m and further."
Sacred Elixir kick-started a massive day at Eagle Farm for Pike when he won Saturay's Gr.1 J. J. Atkins Stakes before his stablemate Provocative came out and landed the Gr.1 Queensland Oaks.
